If you pick up this title and feel like it's lacking, don't give up on it yet. This book has the potential to be a great new series if the creators can build off the strong foundation set in place. Dissonance has areas in to improve in, and I have no doubt this creative team will prove to be successful in the future issues. Get out this Wednesday, pick up this title, and get ready for the remainder of the Dissonance story.

If you haven't read any of Kill or Be Killed yet, I definitely recommend getting every issue.

If futuristic adventure stories are your forte, than Paradiso #1 may be your new book to check out this December. Full of action, great backstory, and a cliffhanger ending, Ram V and his team of artists crafted a wonderful book. This book radiates potential to be a great story, and end the trend of significant sales drops after #1 issues at Image. I highly recommend giving this book a read this December.

More often than not, many independent series fail to live up to the hype of their first issue.Paradiso #2, however, is an exception.

The creative team of Paradiso continue to prove why they are one of the best up-and-coming group of creators in comic books today.

A showcase of Sloene Leong's skillset as a writer and artist. If you enjoy a good story, with or without the action, Prism Stalker is something you should check out.

If you haven't had a chance to read any of the Redlands issues yet, this may not be the first to start with. The lack of action, gore, or suspense in general would not appeal to the first time reader. But for those of us readers, this issue is a great for character development and makes the sisters appear more human than previous issues.

Overall, this issue continues to show that Redlands is one of Image Comics best new series. It's no surprise that several people have included this series, as well as its creators in many top 10 lists of the years. If you haven't started to read this series yet, I highly recommend you start. You will not be disappointed.

As someone who has not bought or played the second game of the series, I cannot comment on how well the story is reflected in the game. However, as someone who has played the first game and is a fan of horror/gore comics, this book is a fun quick read that I think everyone will enjoy. Fans of The Evil Within will find this book a good expansion on the story and answer any questions on possible gaps in the story.
