Abigail and the Snowman #2

Jan 29, 2015

Even though I haven't read the first issue, I was still able to enjoy the story, without missing a beat. This is a book aimed at kids, with themes that can also be enjoyed by adults; and thats where the comparisons with Mafalda end. With that last page reveal, I will definitely pick up issue #3, but for now let me enjoy this Great story once again. 8/10.

Alex + Ada #13

Mar 19, 2015

A very intriguing premise and an explosive issue in general. Im actually conflicted, because even though I dont like expository dialogue, thats what helped me understand what was happening (first-time reader). If I factor in my artistic disagreement too, we are dealing with a Very Good and enjoyable issue. 7/10.

Arcadia #1

May 9, 2015

Arcadia is an ambitious story. Paknadel and Pfeiffer created a whole world in the span of one issue and what a world With lots of interesting ideas laid out in the first issue, Paknadel challenges us to think about our own society. I predict that Arcadia will soar to greater heights as the issues keep coming. A Very Good first issue that deserved at least a rating of 7/10.

Memetic #1

Oct 24, 2014

We have the start of what could be a very entertaining mini series, with an interest in central idea, a well-structured protagonist, beautiful art, plus, an adorable sloth. Issue #2 is already on my pull list and it should be on yours too.

Oh, Killstrike #1

May 21, 2015

A book that will surely satisfy long-time comicbook readers and make new ones feel like a part of the group. Masterfully orchestrated by Max Bemis and exquisitely brought to life by Logan Faerber. I devoured it in minutes and Ill be back for seconds. You should too. A rare, Perfect, 10/10 issue.Moving #ComicsForward

Pirouette #2

Dec 3, 2014

A good second issue after a truly great start. The distinct characters and the not-so-jolly circus atmosphere are the biggest draws to the story, but I hope the pace picks up again in the third issue, because there are lots of interesting seeds lying around, unused.

The Black Hood #4

May 29, 2015

With exceptional art, it still feels like it needed a little bit more in order to erase that filler issue vibe. Still, this is a Very Good comicbook and an exciting new launch.

Wildfire #3

Aug 28, 2014

I am ashamed to say that I hadnt picked this series up before. I am also happy to announce that after this review is online, I will be on Comixology, downloading issues 1 and 2. In conclusion, it was a great sci-fi story and I really enjoyed the environmental angle and the ideas the writer is throwing our way. The art was great, except for the first couple of pages where something just didnt click for me. I cannot decide between calling this issue Perfect, or Excellent, so its time to hand out my first 9.5/10 and call this by the made up adjective Perfellent!
