Superman (2016) #6 |
Sep 15, 2016 |
Tomasi provides wonderful character development of the Kent family as well as great dialogue. Gleason provides us with his delightful art style that gives Superman a classic look. These two complement each other well enough, that each issue is better than the last. Between the classic look Superman has, the comeback of villains like Doomsday and the Eradicator, along with this version of Superman's optimistic, more lighthearted tone, we see a Superman book with a theme of a beloved hero being presented to a new audience, while maintaining the important classic components the longtime fans love. |
