It's recommended that you read the previous volume before this one, just so you can get the full scope of the characters' goals and backgrounds. Otherwise it works well enough as a self-contained one-off and contains much of the same charm and style that made the first volume so great. Don't miss this one.

An excellent start to a promising new series. It's a little lacking in presentation as far as some of the characters go, though it ultimately isn't a detriment to the story.

Conan the Barbarian finally returns to Marvel Comics since his first incarnation. Does his homecoming hold up? Ultimately, yes.

Slightly shaky start but a promising one. This one has a lot of potential.

A treat for Atomic Robo fans, but not the most welcoming to new readers. Witty and fun nonetheless, with much more promised on the horizon.

The art continues to be strong, and the narrative is going into interesting places. This installment, though, turns out to be a lukewarm experience that progresses its overarching plot by inches while apparently leaving most of the legwork to Issue 3. Ultimately passable.

Advertised as a new jumping-on point, this first installment relies a little too much on drawn-out setup and not enough on telling the audience anything substantial. Maybe #24 will have more to offer.
