Voodoo #4
Jan 5, 2012 |
Unfortunately, Ron Marz will soon be leaving the book. Sami Basri will be joined by new writer Joshua Williamson, who apparently has big plans for Voodoo's new direction. Let's hope it does nothing to destroy the great foundation that Ron Marz has laid. |

All it needs now is a little tightening up and to pick up the pace, for readers can only be strung along on promises for so long |

Spawn #217
Jun 25, 2012 |
Unfortunately #217 doesn't quite manage to maintain the momentum of last issue. Hopefully this will prove to be a one off stall for the series before the anti is upped, otherwise a compelling story is in danger of running out of steam before the climax is reached. |

Spawn #218
Jun 26, 2012 |
As hoped, it would seem that last issue was perhaps just a stumble for what has otherwise been a compelling new direction for the title. #218 provides a much needed relief from repeating exposition and finally delivers a much faster action tale. Seeing arch foes collide is always fun and this issues cliff-hanger is so left field that it holds a lot of promise for what may come next as well as raising a whole heap of new questions about current protagonist Jim Downing, his past and the nature of his powers. Let's hope that this time the ball can be kept rolling. |
