The fourth of 'Cerebus' Six Crises' sees barbarian hordes beginning to invade the now bankrupt and pretty much defenceless city-state of Iest. What is a poor aardvark Prime Minister to do? Just as things are going from bad to worse and downhill from there, comes word that Jaka has returned and wants to persuade Cerebus to abandon his post and flee with her. I'm Dave Sim, co-creator of comics' only 6,000-page graphic novel, and I just LOVE building dramatic tension in my stories.
