Aug 11, 2015All in all, Archon #01 makes for an interesting read and leaves the reader in a curious position, wanting answers from the next issue. The bad can easily be solved in later issues as I'm sure that fantasy D&D intro must connect to the main storyline somehow. Gareth has great potential for compelling character interactions and believable reactions for an "Average Joe" being exposed to real-life fantasy. Read Full Review

Jul 29, 2015I'm very curious about this series. I don't quite know where the series is going to go, but I'm curious to find out. It's hooked me with its strong references to LoTR and DnD. I'll be curious to see how Gareth fits into the story and if the Regan era references will play out in the larger story. Overall though it's a fun issue to check out. Read Full Review
