The last dance has finally arrived-but will it be for Hashtag, or for those who have
survived this far? Join superstar creator Juan Doe for this finale as we bid farewell to everyone that attended this "off-the-grid" wedding extravaganza. We leave you with
these parting words, the first day of the rest of your life may be your last.

Written and drawn by AfterShock's very own Juan Doe (DARK ARK, AMERICAN
MONSTER, WORLD READER), BAD RECEPTION is a searing horror story that
doubles as a topical, satirical critique on society's obsession with technology, social media and the cult of celebrity.

I really enjoyed Bad Reception overall as it was a really strong passion project from Juan Doe. I'm always envious of both writers and artists but those that can do both – plus everything else Doe does here – just feels over the top. But it allows for this to be his vision of what he wanted from start to finish – with a good editor along the way. The result is a very tight and engaging murder mystery series with the modern accents that make it resonate in all the right ways. It's got fantastic character designs, a really good setting, some gorgeous colorwork, and a real sense of self and personality that a lot of books will never have. It's a very easy recommendation in collected form as once the mystery and the murders start going on, you're going to want a lot more of it very quickly. Read Full Review

I honestly expected more from Juan Doe in terms of narrative ability and I dont know whether it fell apart because he couldnt decide what he wanted the story to be, or whether the lesson is that sometimes the bad guy wins, but for me it just fell flat in the denouement and left a genuine feeling of disappointment that this is what were left with. Easily became my top series. This could easily be a movie. Too many twists and surprises. Also a lot of times the ads made me think they were real etc.
It was just artwork he created to match the story.
Anyways truly a well put together story.
