The legend of "Mouse Guard" continues to grow with this issue as Petersen manages to overstuff his story " placing far more story into this book than twenty-four pages should logically contain. That is not to say that there is too much going on, simply that there is an amazing amount of story contained in the two dozen pages of this book. As always, "Mouse Guard" hits high recommendation status, but less versed readers might do well to nab this issues with its preceding issues in order to grasp the full gravitas of the story. So the only question you should really be asking yourself is whether it's worth your time and money to follow this series on an issue-ti-issue basis. Personally, I think Mouse Guard is one of those series where trade-waiting is the sensible way to go. The delays are interminable, and Archaia should seriously reconsider how they market and deliver this book. If another six months has to pass before issue #5 sees the light of day, how many fans will have lost interest in the meantime? Read Full Review
