The best-selling Aspen series from creator Siya Oum returns!
In the epic first volume, the tough-minded Lola learned the brutal reality of the apocalypse within the confines of the ruthless Wasteland Trading Company led by the treacherous Edgar and his posse! However, the true challenge lies ahead, as her desire to be reunited with her lost parents still burns greater than ever!
Lola XOXO (Vol. 2) # 1 was a joy to read. It takes some simple ideas of growing up and deciding what to do next with their life and mix it with strong characterization and mystery. This is one of the most stylish books I have come across but does so very simply. Meanwhile, Lola continues to be a strong lead, with good narration and character development that just make most readers fall for our lead. The world of Lola XOXO gets bigger here with some interesting new characters, intriguing mysteries and a dangerously creepy threat showing their " masks. Definitely an issue that makes you want more. Sounds likes a tall order? With a book of this quality, I am sure that Siya Oum is more than up to those challenges as is Lola herself. Read Full Review

There's room to grow but the new volume is off to a stellar start so by all means go out and pick this up. Read Full Review
This issue is just setup, of course, for the rest of the story, as Lola finds herself in danger - and trying to save others at the same time. Well worth a look! Read Full Review
Like so many other books I fall behind on, I'd really like to try and fill in the gaps on this one. A lot seems to have happened since volume one and it looks like a lot is ahead. Don't wait until the apocalypse to try and get this book and make sure to hold onto it until then. Read Full Review
