Josh Carver is now a member of The Front Line, the only group of superhumans in the world. He's given up everything to get here, and he thinks he's paid the full price of admission. But now, he must be inducted into the most closely-held secrets in the world -- the true history of The Front Line, and the things the group have done under cover of darkness. He's being pulled in deeper than he'd imagined, and with every new answer he's being forced to re-examine how much he can really trust his new teammates. But more importantly -- can the team really trust HIM?
