Jan 12, 2024EDIE #1 homages classic drive-in creature features when Edie gets invited to a party and winds up becoming the host of voracious green goo from outer space. Catalanotto does a fine job setting up all the expected archetypes of jocks, bullies, and mean girls just waiting to get whats coming to them, but the story is almost too close to a Blob story to feel wholly original.
