The members of the Paradigm are held captive, helpless to prevent Modeus from manipulating Plutonian into his greatest act of evil yet. The second year of Mark Waid's epic begins a new story arc and steamrolls into uncharted waters never before seen in the superhero genre. Nothing will ever be the same in a post-Plutonian world. Covers by Paul Azaceta and CrissCross.
Overall, Irredeemable #13 has the same high quality of nearly every issue this series has had, but it feels like a bit of a misstep in overall progression of the series. Still a good read, but it feels a little like Waid is buying time here. Hopefully, it will read better when collected as part of a trade paperback. Read Full Review
