Kensho is free from the pressures of the Crystal Castle and back out in world of Thra, a place far wilder and more dangerous than he remembers. Meanwhile in Mithra, the challenger to Thurma's throne is forced to prove her heritage.
The characters' goals take some interesting turns due to unforeseen obstacles. The story is very enjoyable with it split between two protagonists and the visuals are gloriously sumptuous. The art is great, capturing the whimsy of this universe, and the coloring is off the charts incredible. This is a visual experience that must be seen. A highly enjoyable read. Read Full Review

I found myself at times wondering what the point of this issue was and when it was going to get to it. Kensho and Toolah's story was unfocused and if it weren't part of the issue, it probably wouldn't have been missed. Thurma's story was more compelling, but it never really exploited the tension it was building. Read Full Review
