Parents' Day continues as the Roanokes split into parent/daughter teams for a scavenger hunt, with the girls determined to keep their parents from noticing anything supernatural during their visit.
I would definitely say that this is a series worth picking up. Keep in mind this is not the kind of series where each comic is a stand alone, it follows a story line. The over-the-top humor, rapid-fire puns, and exclamatory references to famous historical ladies have all been toned down a bit in this issue, but that doesn’t come as a surprise. The girls all seem to be trying to be on their best behavior for the benefit of their parents, but I expect that to all go by the wayside pretty quickly, given the cliffhanger ending we got in this issue. I’ll be eagerly awaiting the next issue, if for no other reason than to see if the squirrels and bunnies really are just cute woodland creatures with wicked senses of humor, or something more sinister. Anyway, with this issue we not only have lovable new characters in the Lumberjanes' families but also apparently an intriguing new evil fox spirit bad guy. I'm seriously loving how this new parents' weekend arc is progressing. I can't wait to see what's next! Read Full Review

This issue perfectly depicts each main character's personality and puts the Lumberjanes in yet another dangerous situation. Seeing as they're all split up into teams, I'm not sure how all of them are going to take on the issue together"if at all"but I'm excited to find out!
