Wirt and Greg try to take a shortcut in the Unknown with some unexpected consequences.
Everything about this comic is spectacularly conceived and executed. Not just the art and writing, but also the lettering, which is increasingly a digital process, is absolutely masterfully done. The stories are enjoyable to anyone who enjoyed the show, though honestly the tributes to different comic styles are so well done that any comic book fan should be eager to get their hands on it. It's been quite some time since I've done anything with this series and sadly not much has changed. The second book definitely helped me to not completely be disinterested, but all in all I just don't find myself as a fan of them. Once again, I'd say that this is likely only going to be worthwhile to people who like the show, but otherwise, leave it on the shelf for those folks. Read Full Review
