Synopsis: As Katie's parents try to get to know their English visitor in Florida, Katie looks into the history of Emily's family and discovers disturbing details about their deaths.
The story is some what predictable and clich, and the protagonist, Katie, seems to have slept through horror movie protagonist 101 but its still a good read for any horror fan. Read Full Review
I am sticking with this book until its end, but am thankful that said end comes with only one more issue attached. Hopefully the team can wrap it up in a package that makes Rowans Ruin more than just the sum of its parts, but I remain dubious that this will become anything other than decent-looking shelf gristle. While it might not be wholly original (what is?) the execution is a dream. I like the characters and the mystery. Perkins art is expressive and eerie.
