Everything is going great! Charlie is on the team, and the Avant-Guards are on a winning streak, taking the liberal arts sports scene by storm. It's more impressive than it sounds. However, that winning streak is all at risk when they face off against the Selfies of the American Institute of Internet Influencers.
I had a fantastic time reading this issue. It focuses on character development and finds ways for readers to care about it. The dynamic of this blossoming relationship is handled well and many readers could definitely relate to it. Since the series focuses on LGBTQ characters, it shows that stories that are centered around members of the community matter enough to be told. It gives me hope that telling stories like these will continue to be accepted and praised. This is a comic series I wholeheartedly recommend. Read Full Review

The comic is built around a believable love triangle complicated by past relationships and baggage. My one complaint is the overuse of blank backgrounds - it made the art feel rushed and incomplete way too much of the time. Read Full Review
