Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning finish the first arc of their cosmic superhero masterpiece in the making and will have you begging for more! It’s the return of Prismatica as she rejoins the Hypernaturals and faces her greatest fear: the man who killed her husband and the most diabolical supervillain the Quantinuum has ever known…Sublime.
Abnett and Lanning do a masterful job weaving several storylines around each other and not letting any character get the short stick while doing so. Hypernaturals #3 is a stellar performance from both a story and artistic perspective; overall earning 4.5 out of 5 stars. Read Full Review
Boom has a bunch of great monthly titles and this one is no exception. I love the world and the feel that The Hypernaturals has and can’t wait to finish the story, but more importantly I can’t wait to see what comes after this story. That’s when it will be really impressive and that’s when Marvel will realize what they threw away due someone’s dislike of “space” books. Good catch Boom, keep it up. Read Full Review
Overall, this issue is a set up for much more to come. The supplemental material of Hypernaturals advertisements and correctional documents featured ensure the reader that this world is very thoroughly thought out. If you haven't yet, I suggest you picking up issues 1 and 2 (and searching for the free issue that was given out on Free Comic Book Day) before the next arc begins. Read Full Review
