Thanks to a ritual performed by shaman Black Hound, the "lock", a powerful artifact was installed in Danila's body, severing his connection to Satan's spirit. As a result, Demonslayer is completely devoid of his former power and can't fight his enemies as effectively as before. That, however, doesn't stop him from trying, despite his mission becoming harder and harder every day. To make matters even worse - Satan still tries to take over Danila, tormenting him more and more often. Feeling guilty, Black Hound comes up with a solution and suggests that Danila gets off ash sand...
