Comic Book Therapy - MrComicBook Jun 3, 2012

Chris Samnee is one of those artists, when you see their name on the cover, it requires you to buy it. His artwork has always been brilliant, and that continues with this issue. Characters clearly look their actor counterparts, but Samnee is giving them all his own take. His artwork suits a fantasy book well, as shown on Thor: The Mighty Avenger. While I love his artwork on Daredevil, I wouldn't mind him staying around on the title for the occasional fill in work. As always, characters are borderline lifelike with how expressive they are. The book couldn't have been lettered and the reader would be able to get an idea of what is going on in this book. The numerous monsters look fantastic. If you had any doubt that Samnee is going to be one of the best artists of this generation, look no further than here for reasons why. Then go read Daredeviland see even more. Read Full Review

Licensed sequels in comic form can be a difficult creation, but Gage and Samnee make it look easy. Joss Whedon fans, you need this comic. Read Full Review

The Fandom Post - Kory Cerjak Apr 2, 2014

This issue was largely interim, with the reintroduction of Willow into the Angel storyline. But I'm sure it'll play into much more important things with Lavinia and Sophronia. The big takeaway here for me is that I'm looking forward to what these girls with (formerly) powerful magic will bring to the dynamic that Angel and Faith so amazingly play. Read Full Review

A nice one-off story that introduces two new characters, and there are some solid laughs with them, but this is the calm before the next four issue plot. Read Full Review
