Black Hammer Reborn #8 is another great issue of Jeff Lemire's stellar series. This intriguing story of parallel Earths is proving to be a high point in the Black Hammer saga. I look forward to seeing how Lemire's story plays out as this series enters the third and final act. Read Full Review

Black Hammer Reborn continues to move into interesting areas with what it does and I'm really liking spending as much time with Weird as we are. That does shift to the end as we reconnect with Lucy and Skulldigger a bit as they're now starting to making plans so you can see things ramping up more very quickly here. The book once again delivers solidly on the character side – never a worry in a Lemire book – while Ward and Sheean's artwork is fantastic in giving us the right kind of feeling for a Weird storyline. I have noticed that this REBORN series has a lot of empty space. Story is still very entertaining but I feel these issues go by super quick.
