This book is just one issue in a series of consistency and brilliance. Mignola, being Mignola, writes of the B.P.R.D. with ease and flow, letting us calmly but excitedly move from page to page with a hungering want for more. Instead of shoving a bunch of action at us, Mignola and Arcudi take their time to write out a story arc for us to be drawn into, and emotionally invested in—as much as Kraus is emotionally invested in finding himself and coming to terms with what he has done, as well as what he is yet to do. This book, as with the majority of the Mignola-verse is the epitome of consistency. Fans of the book will no doubt recognize that a proper meal of a story is eventually more satisfying than a Big Mac fast food conclusion. Read Full Review
