Chris Scalf's art maintains its own strengths and flaws. The painted style is a nice change from the usual Star Wars fare. At its strongest, the art is very detailed and cinematic. Unfortunately, the overall quality continues to be haphazard at best. Particularly towards the end of this issue, Scalf's consistency wavers quite a bit. It's a shame the series can't always look as good as its covers. Even so, Blood Ties is proving to be a worthwhile read for fans of the Fett man. Read Full Review
