In a desert wasteland, it comes to a showdown. Using Jedi Dass Jennir's friend Ember Chankeli as a pawn and his own tracking droid as a secret weapon, cold-blooded assassin Falco Sang believes he has the contest rigged. But what he hasn't counted on is not one, but three willing sacrifices. How can you win against opponents who will risk everything?

And even if Sang wins, he still has one big problem: Darth Vader!

I've read a lot of Star Wars comics. It's no small claim when I say this is the greatest Star Wars series I have ever read. It would be a crime if Dark Horse does not collect this into a hardcover. Why is there no Eisner Award for Franchise in Another Medium? This would win. Highest possible recommendation. Dark Times takes a break for a little while which is the perfect time to catch up on the twenty-plus issue run. This issue is the perfect place to dovetail a lot of threads and that is exactly what happens in this issue. Some of the characters are safe for now, but what Vader does next will greatly impact the lot of them. I enjoyed this issue and series immensely. Read Full Review

Dass Jennir has been on the run for quite some time and Darth Vader has been teased as being right behind him. With the conclusion of this adventure, it truly seems as though the expanded universe and the original cast of characters (through Vader) are set on a collision course. You can almost hear John Williams' music beginning to filter in over closing credits that aren't present as we await the next installment of adventures in that galaxy "far, far away."
