Robin Buckley is always trying to mask her true self in the rural town of Hawkins as she coasts through days packed full of boring classes and band practice. That all changes when a love-struck Robin can't help but take on the role of director for a school project in an effort to get her crush Tammy's attention. She's determined to convey her deeper feelings through her script, even if she has no idea how it should end.
This chapter in the anthology series won't change how you see the core narrative, but it does offer a nuanced and heartfelt glimpse into how some residents of Hawkins are troubled by inner demons as opposed to those from the Upside Down. Read Full Review
If you're missing the Netflix show, this anthology series may temporarily scratch an itch for you. This issue isn't great – and the art is middling at best – but it does give a little background on a character who is easily overlooked with all the supernatural happenings in Hawkins, Indiana.
