Synthetics Volume One #3 delivers a mix of action and drama in a nice little sci-fi package. I'm looking forward to seeing if the synthetics can provide hope to a hopeless world. Plot
The story takes place in the future and is told through three interconnected subplots, filled with mysteries, conspiracy theories, and crime investigations:
The first subplot shows Hernando Montoya and the billionaire Yuri of the Vita Nova corporation activating a synthetic human for the first time. They begin with Hannah, witnessing the birth of the first synthetic human. Leaving Alexander for later, they planned to do the same with reporter Blake Wohl, but it's deemed too dangerous.
The second subplot shows Nick and Denny confiscating thousands of illegal brain cells used to create memories and sell them in the Void.
