Plot
While Walter Whittier's family tries to bring Captain Henry back, the designs of the deceased Jameson are difficult to decipher, and they don't know what happened to him.

Captain Henry continues to escape a giant clock with legs and arms that relentlessly pursues him. He is saved by Dr. Bertram Otterham Archimedes, a time traveler from 1778, who, with the help of the scientific society ORDER OF AETHER, created the perpetual motion time machine called Ophelia.

Bertram explains that he arrived at this place, which he calls the Graveyard of Time, after traveling from the beginning of time in Hyperborea to the very end, where Hellboy makes a cool and chilling cameo. Several time travelers are dead inside their machines in this graveyard.

The Ophelia machine cannot take off in this location; something is draining the energy produced by its perpetual motion system, which powers Bertram's electric weapon that eliminates these monstrous clocks with a single shot.

Yuri plans to create the first synthetic humans capable of surviving the toxicity of the Dead Zones: Alexander and Hannah, named after his deceased sister. The use of these synthetic memories causes people to fall into a deadly void, leading to organ failure and death.

The second subplot explains how, five years ago, news about "DEATH ZONES"—places where human life is impossible due to high levels of toxicity caused by climate change—created a global cultural shift, giving the planet a maximum of fifteen years to live.

The third subplot shows how Detective Nick keeps his sister isolated from reality in a house where the windows make it seem as if the world is fine. The news is part of a streaming service where all the stories are positive and fabricated. Apparently, Nick also uses these synthetic memories.

Amidst all the excitement, Wizard hacks into Reed's computer system, takes control of his robots, and attacks Reed, Ben, Johnny, and Sue. Valeria and Franklin regain control of the system and defeat Wizard.

Rook, Dire Wolf, and Matterhorn try to stop Stag, the the Deer Warden, who wants to behead Bloodhound because Bloodhound murdered his wife. All of this takes place inside the World Engine, which Rook wants to repair, but only with Bloodhound's help, if he can restore his sanity.

However, none of the three manage to defeat or even land a blow on Stag. Suddenly, an avalanche of spiders arrives, trapping them all and causing them to hallucinate painful memories of their past.

Rook comes to his senses and sees the the Spider Warden. His suit is enormous, with robotic limbs. Rook tries to convince him to help repair the World Engine, but it's revealed that the person inside the suit is being controlled by the spiders, who are responsible for damaging the World Engine and want to eliminate all the invading humans. This is the second instance where the Guardians end up being controlled by the very animal they thought they were controlling.

The plot continues to reveal more and more of this post-apocalyptic future that repeats itself in new settings, blending the science fiction and monster genres. It's one of the best comics of the moment.

Tee is a young woman who stays late working, stocking a store, when she is accosted by five men who brutally beat her and take her to a barn.

In this barn, she is tortured mercilessly for forty-four days, without any reason, and her name is changed to "dogshit." None of the aggressors use their names; she refers to them based on their behavior:
-Ruthless Boy: the most verbally aggressive
-Kicking Boy: the one who loves to kick her constantly
-Laughing Boy: the one who laughs at all the abuse and also carries out his aggression in the form of twisted, cruel jokes
-Artistic Boy: one of the quietest and complicit in the whole situation
-Fifth Boy: he only observes and gives orders on how to torture her. He never directly participated in the torture; he was quiet, but his sickly satisfied expression was the most chilling.

This group of depraved individuals cut off Tee's big toe to send to her parents for ransom on day three. On day thirty-eight, Tee loses all hope of survival because the news reveals that her parents, convinced they had killed her, commit suicide.

On day forty-four, they douse her with gasoline and set her on fire. She gives no signs of life, and they dump her body on a pier. She is rescued by a couple and taken to the hospital. Unidentified, she escapes and takes refuge in a barn at Father Guerrero's church. They mistake her for an animal, and the priest takes her in.

The story jumps four years into the future, where these five assailants are living their normal lives and celebrating the fourth anniversary of their unpunished crime. They are wealthy, and Tee is going to be involved in this celebration. By showing that they all have a lot of money, it makes it clear that one of the motives for the kidnapping was never financial.

This shocking story doesn't stray far from the harsh reality where senseless violence against women is a frequently unpunished crime. The detailed narrative makes you feel the overwhelming need for these five psychopaths to get what they deserve.

Kingpin uses Micro to activate his mind-control equipment. Micro is physically and mentally exhausted and asks them both for a break, which Kingpin grants.

Tombstone tortures NYPD Detective Fishback in the home of the elderly woman who took Frank in. Tombstone finally discovers that the Punisher is behind all the attacks that have disrupted his fraudulent activities. This sequence is graphic and full of violence.

The Punisher kidnaps two paramedics and forces them to remove the chip from his head; he is about to break free from Fisk.

Reed Richards devises a plan: to exile Godzilla to an uninhabited planet so he can rest without destroying anything. He sends him using Thor's hammer, attaching one end to Godzilla and the other to Mjolnir, which transports him through a portal created by Magik.

On this planet, Reed leaves a satellite that takes a week to transmit data, allowing him to continue monitoring Godzilla.
