An outsider has learned the best and worst of humanity in an outstanding story. This penultimate issue has the title character closer to being human and closer to his fate. An outstanding read. Read Full Review

I'm rather glad that this series turned out to be more about the Visitor than Hellboy himself. I wasn't expecting that, and it was definitely a nice surprise. This issue is damn near perfect, and I was honestly bummed when I flipped the last page. I'm not all too sure of where the Visitor is going to go from here, what he is going to do, if he is going to stay for Hellboy or the chance of meeting another human to share his life with" But I'm excited to find out. The final issue is on its way, so keep reading! Read Full Review

The comfort that the Visitor can provide, by altering his physical appearance to be what his wife needs is both tender and heart-breaking. Ruby's death is a blow, but one that he is prepared for. With that “distraction” gone, I'm assuming our Visitor will turn his attention back to Hellboy in the final issue as we'll see if his decision to spare the child and remain on Earth was the right one. Worth a look. Read Full Review
