Batman: Lil' Gotham #5 is yet another excellent entry into one of the best comics DC Comics is publishing. Dustin Nguyen and Derek Fridolfs are only focused on telling a fun, creative story and that is exactly what this comic is. Seeing characters such as Joker, Talia Al Ghul, Catwoman and Zatanna having wacky chibi-style adventures in Gotham City is a pure joy. This is a must buy comic for any DC Comics fan and great comic to buy for those looking to get kids into comics. This comic gets the Revolution-Kevin stamp of approval. Read Full Review
Li'l Gotham comes to print in April with an issue that will collect the first two digital issues -- Halloween and Thanksgiving. Nguyen has discussed plans to increase the title's digital publications to twice monthly to incorporate more stories in addition to the holiday themes. Even with one story doing the heavy lifting, Nguyen and Fridolfs' "Batman: Li'l Gotham" remains a bright warm light in a relatively dark humorless DC Universe. "Batman: Li'l Gotham" takes the absolute best of the Bat-Universe and comics in general, mashing them together into heart-warming, hilarious, and beautiful stories that comic fans of all ages can enjoy. This valentine from DC's Digital First lineup is certainly worth the price and will most definitely provide a longer lasting impression than candy or cards.
