I believe this is the first issue of Judd Winick's "Batman: Under The Red Hood." I own the Tradepaperback and the first chapter in that book is #635, so I'm guessing, though the artwork is different, this is the start of the story. If that's the case, im gonna write my review for each chapter starting with this issue. Enjoy

I never read the "under the red hood" story but I own the animated adaptation on dvd, so I wanted to check this out. I went to Barnes & Noble this past friday & I saw the book, so I picked it up. And I must say, this is an exciting first issue. With an engaging first few pages, you're instantly hooked into the mystery of the city & the bloody fight between Batman & Red Hood. Obviously the mystery isn't as big as it was then, since most batman readers know that it's Jason Todd, but it's still entertaining. The classic "red Hood gang intimidation" scene, that we all know, is in this issue & more. It's a fun, straight to the point, start to a story. more
