Black Mask has had it! As if Batman's opposition to his criminal empire wasn't enough, now the Red Hood is decimating his ranks. Since he can't beat him, would the Black Mask ever consider joining Gotham's newest vigilante?

Issue 648 of Batman has lots of action and intrigue, but very little Batman. The story reads fast, even with a lot of dialogue between Black Mask and Red Hood. It sets the stage for some very interesting storytelling. The concept of Jason Todd returning from the dead is key in making the story work. In the end, its a comic worth reading, but beware, if youre against Batman playing a backup role perhaps you should look somewhere else. Read Full Review
