Romano Molenaar delivers a great turn here, offering some dynamic page layouts that celebrate the plentiful action without sacrificing the emotion of the characters, limited though it is. His character detail is pretty refined " particular on Black Canary " but the backgrounds and most environments are left to colorist Chris Sotomayor to render. The I hate when I don't like an issue of this series, because the characters are great, and the dynamic between them is always fun, but this penultimate issue to Swierczynski's run doesn't inspire a whole lot of confidence for the final issue, but then again, I'm not entirely sure he's to blame for that. Looking forward, given the editorial nonsense that has surrounded this book, I can only hope Marx comes in and injects the title with some excitement. Read Full Review
An average back half does not make up for a lousy first half. It looks to me as if the next issue will be mostly self-contained, so I would not suggest buying this issue at all. Even if the next issue is good, you will not be missing much by letting this one go. Read Full Review
