Gotham is being overwhelmed by Grimm! They keep appearing in every corner of the city, and the only lead the Dark Knight has is the four mysterious girls he just met. Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang explain to Batman and the assembled Bat-Family how they landed in Gotham. But just as some pieces start to coalesce, a horde of Grimm are converging on the worst possible location: Arkham Asylum!

    Next month, Bennett and company slide into a deeper mysticism in an issue that features the magical end of the DC Universe, including appearances by John Constantine, Zatanna, and Wonder Woman. This milieu is a much more natural fit for a team of mystical warrior women, which could potentially work against the series if there isnt enough contrast between the two universes in collision. It could also work to the advantage of the series, as the conflict is no longer hampered by weird juxtapositions as the series approaches its midway point.  Read Full Review

    The first half feels almost laid-back, but when the team heads to Arkham Asylum to put down an outbreak of Semblance-empowered villains, things pick up in a big way. It's not a natural fusion, but the creative team has a good handle on everyone involved. Read Full Review

    DC/RWBY #2 is a fantastic continuation that opens up the world to an incredibly scary reality. The colliding worlds continue to provide plenty of laughs and brilliant interactions while also introducing us to bizarre consequences that will have major ramificactions for both Gotham and Remnant. This second issue does an outstanding job at further exploring these unique worlds, but it's safe to say that the next issue will be a game changer... Read Full Review
