Cars explode! Fireworks explode! People explode! Surprise villains make appearances...and explode! Get ready to run as the Human Flame ends up finding a new “benefactor” who may grant him a fate worse than death. Did we mention the explosions? Good, because this issue has tons of them.

    The infusion of new blood into the book doesn't just help the story, either; it also made me understand why Freddie Williams II was chosen for this series. In my review of last issue, I remarked how Williams' cartoony art felt out of place in this ultra-violent spectacle, but his style felt right at home as soon as Condiment King and his band of morons appeared. With this band of garishly costumed goofballs present to balance out all the blood and guts, Williams now seems like a great choice to handle the art. His work in the last few pages is another reason I'm looking forward to reading more of Run. Read Full Review

    "Final Crisis Aftermath: Run!" isn't at all what I was expecting, but that's not a bad thing at all. I think what I appreciate the most is that the ending could go just about anywhere from here. I'm looking forward to seeing just what Sturges' ultimate goal is, and hopefully it won't disappoint. Read Full Review
