Since Bruce Wayne just had to go and get himself kidnapped by Scarecrow, Little Batman (a.k.a. Damian Wayne) finally has a real case to solve. But to crack the clues and save his dad, he'll first have to defeat every kid's worst nightmare: a babysitter. With fear toxin now back in Gotham, everyone's getting a little scared...even Bruce Wayne, who fears that Little Batman might be falling right into Scarecrow's trap.
This series does a good job of balancing its superhero action with some great cartoony twists, like a hilarious vision of what life would be like if Bruce and Damian were Batman all the time. Read Full Review
Overall, the kooky art style really shines in this series. Each of the characters have weird proportions that easily characterize their strengths and weaknesses, like Damian's massive water jug head. Moreover, there are other unique designs such as the inventive, tube shaped Batmobile with hilariously abundant exhaust pipes or the picturesque framing, horror sequences, and flashbacks. As for the writing, Little Batman can be cute but heavy handed. At times, the silliness is endearing, but in others, it diminishes the impact of the more serious moments. Especially when the main character melodramatically worries non-stop while everyone else doesn't worry whatsoever.
