Another reason is it tells a story featuring strong, likeable characters. Not strong ina physical sense, but strong as in solid-from-the-ground-up. People may thinkits great that these are empowered women characters, but honestly, their gender doesnt matter to me. Male or female, they have depth, and thats farmore important. Read Full Review
Benjamin's art captures all the action in a very Saving Private Ryan style of art that serves this issue well. The depiction of Surtr was all menacing and encompassed a look of Norse lore as well as Sam Jackson Bad Mf'er. We're now at the finale boss battle for this series as a shitload of new challengers approaches. We're about to see the Jotun Amazon hybrids in action. Read Full Review
At times there have been brief glimmers of hope for this title, a chance that the tail-end of it may redeem the whole thing. With Odyssey Of The Amazons #5 that hope has been snuffed out. It's bad, almost laughably so, and all we can do is be thankful that there's only one issue left to go in the series. Read Full Review
I really don't like this issue. There are some neat character designs but that's the only thing that works for me. There isn't anything in terms of characters or plot that is interesting or engaging. It's dull and I don't recommend reading it. Read Full Review
