My only real concern with the arc right now is whether Bedard can deliver a truly satisfying conclusion in the remaining two issues. Will Lobo have his true revenge? Will Vril Dox have the last laugh over Starro? Will the other members of the team receive their due? Bedard has plenty of material to juggle in the final chapters. Read Full Review
There is so much good stuff in this comic that I really am going to miss it. Sure, Vril Dox is the straw that sturs the drink. But there are more stories out there for Lyrl, and the R.E.B.E.L. team, and Smite and Stormdaughter. In some ways, I think it is a shame that the new faces have dominated this book for so long because I still want to see those stories ... much more than I want to see Captain Comet's or Adam Strange's. Hopefully the book ends on a high note and we see the team now and then in a big JLA or GL story line. Read Full Review
In the wave of DC titles up for cancellation, some seem undeserved, others sad but understandable, and others no-brainers. Unfortunately, R.E.B.E.L.S., for a lot of reasons, falls hard in the third category. Read Full Review
