Better than ish 3, here Mae almost kills the dying Lex Luthor II but is stopped by Superman who saves him from her wrath. Superman convinces her that despite all the deceptions, plots and lies Lex has committed against Mae to use her, Lex really was dying in this case.

If anything the best part was what Superman said to Lex. How he lost a true love like Mae from all the lies when she would have done anything for him if he just told her the truth.

This was a strange experience to say the least, I can't imagine what people were feeling at the time when they were reading this.
