This was a more casual experience compared to the final end of the first 10 issues. With a new artist Kirk, the art has taken back a bit compared to Gary Frank who was really getting good. Peter David still has a charm that what would seem like boring outings or table talk to more interesting life-like moments.

Mattie has an outburst during the trial of the store owner who murdered her brother PJ during Gorilla Grodds Primordial revolution of #3-4. Cutter stops her from being in contempt of court and invites her and Linda to the comedy club. The comedian is Cutter's ex, and we find out his real name is Wendell. He's lived a crazy life going from Hollywood, trying to make it but he clearly is having plenty of trouble.

Dick is Linda's date and comes from a wealthy southern family but is living on his own to prove his worth. He has a rolls Royce though as a "gift".

Alot of comic writers don't make such little characters like this stand out like David does.

The big reveal as to the monster in the cave is Banshee! So can't wait to see what the hell Banshee is up to back in 1997 lmao! more
