Ever since Gates and Igle have begun their work on this book, it has gotten consistently better. Supergirl is finally the book it should have always been, a compelling story about a teenage girl caught between two worlds. I for one cant wait until next month. Read Full Review
"Supergirl" #39 is a worthy addition to the overall Geoff Johns-driven Superman mega-story, and Gates propels the Superwoman mystery along nicely. Now that "Action Comics" and "Superman" have turned their attention to the third-stringers of Metropolis, it's nice to have "Supergirl" maintaining its newfound consistency as a comic worth reading. In the end, Gates and Igle might actually succeed in blowing me away with the reveal of Superwoman's identity. For now, however, I'm more interested in learning her identity so that the book can move on than I am genuinely curious. Read Full Review
Sterling Gates has done an impossible job of actually making me like a Supergirl comic, which will probably lead me to picking up some back issues of his short run and continuing with it for the time being. While not an absolute Must Read comic, entertaining and a solid pick if you are enjoying the current World Without Superman event. Read Full Review
