We saw what Deathstroke and his team of mercenaries did in the TITANS: VILLAINS FOR HIRE SPECIAL #1, and it was a dark day for the Justice League of America. Hopefully their next target fares better--and by next target, we mean Lex Luthor!
For the first issue in the title (I'm not counting the one-shot), I really enjoyed what I read. Sadly, I never got into Secret Six except for a Battle for the Cowl cross over issue. I'm sure I'll pick up some trades of it eventually but in the meanwhile I'm sure Titans will fill that need perfectly. I give this issue four and a half out of five stars. Read Full Review
The issue is drawn in the same painterly style seen in Cry for Justice, although here the art of Fabrizio Fiorentino and Mike Mayhew is far more uniform than the hodgepodge of different styles found in that unfortunate James Robinson mini-series. That's Titans #24 in a nutshell for you – the issue is bad; just not nearly as bad as the recent issues to which it is so similar. But does that really make it anywhere near respectable?
