  Blood & Gourd is everything I have ever loved about indie comics and the creative team has carved out a place for themselves which is set apart from the majority of mainstream comics today. The ability to explore the human condition in full color, while also giving the reader a hilariously ridiculous scenario of a favorite holiday symbol coming back to get its revenge goes to demonstrate the freedom indie creators have to go beyond the status quo and try something new. It is a one of a kind comic series, and I cannot recommend picking up a copy of Blood & Gourd issue #2 enough. Read Full Review
