Everybody is kung fu fighting! In fact, it's a little bit frightening! "Furious Road" reaches its action-packed, grindhouse climax as Ash and his allies - including the Frankenstein's Monster, The Daughter of Dracula, and her infamous father - team up with a monastery full of Motor City Shaolin monks against The General and his demonic Army of Darkness in a last-ditch attempt to save the world... or at least themselves! Oh-ho-ho-hoh-HA!
Collins and Baal work together seamlessly to create a world teetering on the brink of ultimate devastation. It is an eclectic and evocative mix of post-apocalyptic survival horror, supernatural horror, and Ashley J. Williams snark. The truly unfortunate thing is that this appears to be the last issue of the series. Collins and Baal have proven to be very adept at working with the Evil Dead/Army of Darkness characters and tropes. Hopefully, they will continue to work with this franchise. Read Full Review
