The tenth issue of the Bob's Burgers comic book is sizzling with new stories! Louise finds herself pixelated when she's sucked into a videogame; Gene's rhymes climb to new heights in Jack and the Gene-stalk; and Tina tells a particularly tall tale about a nuclear accident, a school dance, and a fleet of Russian submarines. Everyone loves Bob's Burgers, the fan-favorite animated sitcom that airs on Fox television with other hits such as The Simpsons and Family Guy!
Each of these stories has some element of magical realism, which isn't really what the show is about. The show was meant to reflect everyday life and the struggles/joys we experience therein. These are great stories, but it's hard for me to accept them as Bob's Burgers stories. Nevertheless, I enjoyed reading them. I would definitely recommend this issue for any Bob's Burgers fan out there. Read Full Review
This series is all about fun, and this issue is no exception. I love these three stories and their art is different each time, but still feels so at home in the Bob’s Burgers Universe. I am excited to see where Jack and the Gene stalk goes, and to read more of Tina's erotic friend fiction. The different shorts in this issue were all really solid and this issue actually serves as a solid jumping-on point for the book, since everything starts over with part one, or just a one-off story in this issue, so if you are on the fence about this book, or just finding out, you can get in with a low accessibility hurdle on this issue, then do the responsible thing and go back and binge on everything Bob’s Burgers you possibly can!
