DIE!NAMITE NEVER DIES! #3 is a weird-but-wonderful interplanetary zombie adventure with creative visuals, dialog that snaps, crackles, and pops, and a villain reveal that sets up a monstrous threat. With the next issue being the penultimate installment of this incarnation, I'm not expecting it to really do much beside get us closer to the next phase. At this point, if there's another series after this one then I'll be passing on that because while the ride is fun we don't actually seem to be getting anywhere. I really like Fred Van Lente's take on these characters in this situation and the way the characters interact with each other is an absolute delight. But it's just coming up short in making what feels like real story progress. The artwork continues to be great and I love the way the characters express themselves in action and through their faces. It's a lot of fun but it's just missing something in the story side for me at this point. Read Full Review
