Barks adventures with uncle Scrooge, and the ducks were the product of some rather brilliant pacing. Everything seem to move briskly into adventure and worlds that seemed very imaginatively sat out. But theres something thats missing when an issue like this focuses so far on establishing the setting at the tone and all of those familiar elements that everybody remembers from the cartoon show. It feels a little slow in getting going. And thats kind of against the overall spirit of what Berks had created in the beginning. that being said, it should be interesting to see where this goes. Theres a lot of directions that one could take it in that wouldnt necessarily be outside the realm of the original series, but would be an expansion due to a decidedly different format.
