The Lone Ranger and Tonto head back to Abilene, where the town's respected marshal has been murdered. With a band of angry, vengeful deputies in pursuit of those responsible, will the Lone Ranger be able to convince them that the murderers deserve a trial? Or will their thirst for slaughter prevail?
Overall, another great issue of The Lone Ranger. The story is engaging right from the start, (and it's a violent one) and the writing is fantastic. If no one thinks the Ranger and Tonto are as good characters as Superman or Iron Man, they should givr this issue a read. You should consider putting it on your pull list, there are very few comics like The Lone Ranger. Read Full Review
No, as I mentioned, what really sinks The Lone Ranger #20 is the story. The Lone Ranger is hardly even featured in this comic, and when he is, it's as an afterthought. You could've replaced he and Tonto both with any anonymous dork and the story would be exactly the same. The main focus of the book is boring and 1 dimensional with no greater insight into his personality or character to be found and the story as whole feels a little rushed, not to mention more than a bit brutal for someone like The Lone Ranger. I'm sorry to say I can't recommend this comic. Read Full Review
