The internal art itself is damn cool, just as I mentioned in the review for the first issue last month. Fritz and Adriano's portrayal of Old Sonja is great, and her body language often conveys a lot. Plus there's the fact that she is still battling some old wounds, and that kind of takes things to the next level. And the colours are generally as good too, especially the scenes with Sutekh and his army, and Sonja's fight against one of the demi-god's monsters. Read Full Review
There have been a lot of Red Sonja mini series, specials, and one shots to go as a companion piece on the success of the monthly. By in large, most of those efforts have been simply ok or downright awful in their depiction. Never have any of them been on an equal level with the monthly. With two issues into this mini however, I believe that is not the case. This one holds its own and is one worth reading. Bring it on lady and gentlemen. I want more. Read Full Review
Red Sonja: Vulture's Circle #2 is an entry that knows what it wants even as the written word lays heavy burdens on its storied icon. However it finds fun and enough quality to earn a recommendation from me. Read Full Review
