All the cards are on the table, and everyone knows where every player stands. A trap is laid- but are Red Team about to be beaten at their own game? A malevolent foe makes his move at last, in the sixth and penultimate episode of Red Team.
Craig Cermak beautifully renders this issue, showing just how tired and torn the team has become. The scene's after a funeral are wonderful; you can see by looking into the character's eyes just how far this has gone. This comic has looked great from day one, but this issue ramps it up a notch. Truly, Red Team #6 shows that even a book that features long scenes of folks just talking can be visual interesting. Red Team continues to be a dramatic and complex crime story that only Garth Ennis can pull off. I've enjoyed the story so far, and things have really been set up for an exciting finale.
